The dream of having a boys' hostel in Jammu, exclusively for students belonging to Kargil, finally became a reality in the year 2013. The entire process involved immense fortitude and strenuous efforts at different levels. It was essential to create a facility in Jammu for our students to facilitate their growth in an academically conducive atmosphere.

It is a pleasure for me to place on record that another hostel in Jammu, exclusively for girl students of Kargil, has been sanctioned. We need to strive hard to ensure that our daughters do not remain behind in any field of excellence.

The management of the boys' hostel in Jammu has capably conceptualized this website in order to spread awareness about its various activities. It is a remarkable initiative and I appreciate the sincere efforts that have gone into transforming the idea into reality. Evidently, the outcome is indeed commendable.
